With the Oscars just around the corner, everyone is incredibly excited. The stage has been set and everybody is ready for the big night. The drama, the emotion, you get it all at the Academy Awards. So, as the Oscar fever takes its charge, lets take a look at the 83rd Academy Awards nominations-

Best Motion Picture
Black Swan: A psychological thriller about a young ambitious dancer Nina, who is awarded the prestigious dual role in the ballet Swan Lake and how she finds her dark side.


The Fighter: Two brothers struggle with personal challenges as they pursue a shared dream of greatness in the boxing ring.

Inception: Dom Cobb, the protagonist inserts himself in his targets minds and makes them reveal their secrets to him. A fast paced, edgy, sci-fi movie.





The kids are all right: The story of the teenage children of a lesbian couple who try to find their biological father.


The king’s speech: Plagued since childhood by a paralyzing stammer, the future King George VI of England has given up hope of finding a cure for his impediment.




127 Hours: The miraculous story of how climber Aron Ralston escapes from sure death when he gets stuck in a ravine for 127 hours.
